Our ewes, coming out of such a harsh season last year, excelled with almost all delivering during May and June.  Feed is still short, but our ewes have magnificent udders and their lambs are growing splendidly.

Selected 2024 drop rams are now available on farm for private selection.  There are also a few 2023 drop rams that were unsold last year due to sheep numbers being very low in the state, and these quality rams are offered at a considerable discount.

With so many lovely lambs born each year, we need to cut back our breeder ewes to make room for the best of the next generation.  We usually offer around 40 to 50 ewes annually following weaning.  These fertile ewes are excellent mothers and ideal prime lamb dams.  Expressions of interest welcome at any time.  There will also a number of selected 2024 drop ewe weaners available. 

Take advantage of rising lamb prices.  WAMMCO current price is $10.00 per dressed kilo for lamb carcasses between 18.1 and 32 kilos, score 2, 3 and 4, and we can expect an upward trend to continue into the year.  Rising prices for mutton are now $6.80 per dressed kilo for carcasses between 20.1 and 32 kilos, score 1, 2, 3 and 4.
